Dougie Rowlinson

Dougie Rowlinson retired from the Army in 2006 on completion of 30 years of service in the Royal Corps of Signals. As a Colonel he led the project team responsible for delivering MoD's £1.2bn PFI deal that delivered its secure telecommunications service. On promotion to Brigadier he became the Director of Strategy at the Defence Communications Services Agency. His last role within the Army was to conduct MoD's fundamental review into Information Assurance (IA) from policy to its practical implementation. On retirement, he set up his own consultancy business. He currently works for CSIA as the lead for the Compliance work-stream of the National IA Strategy
