Lizzie Coles-Kemp

Ms Lizzie Coles-Kemp is a lecturer at the Information Security Group, Royal Holloway where she lectures and researches in information security management. Her academic research areas are currently design aspects of information security management systems and the measurement of compliance and assurance. She has just completed her PhD thesis in the design of information security management systems.

Lizzie has worked in information security since 1991 when she joined the Swedish security software company, Dynamic Software AB where she worked on UNIX security and smart card projects across Europe and in the US. In 1997 Lizzie left DynaSoft to become global IT Security Officer for the British Council. Since 2000 she has worked as a Lead Assessor for Lloyds Register Quality Assurance (LRQA) auditing organisations to ISO/IEC 27001 and tScheme as well as continue to develop her academic interests.
